Transformer Voltage Regulator UTXvRNT

The transformer voltage regulator is intended for use in all regulation systems with an on-load tap changer on any high and medium voltage lines operating with a grounded, compensated or insulated star point. The device ensures quick and reliable adjustment. Extensive functions of compensation for voltage drops, settings, calendar, event and disturbance recording and voltage quality recording ensure the implementation of even the most sophisticated applications.

Additionally, a reactive power control mode is available in cooperation with a compensation coil (RNTQ mode).

UTXvRNT - Transformer Voltage Regulator

The basis for reliable operation of the machine is precise and fast measurement of analog quantities and precise calculation of modules and voltage vectors.

UTXvRNT Series 3 is available in the following versions:

  • UTXvRNT2 series 3 – regulator designed to work with a two-winding transformer, has one set of analog measurement inputs U1 and I1.
  • UTXvRNT3 series 3 – regulator designed to work with a three-winding transformer, has two sets of analog measurement inputs U1/U2 and I1/I2.

All varieties are standardly equipped with:

  • 8 output relays,
  • 14 binary inputs (including 8 high-voltage inputs 90 – 300[V]AC/DC and 6 inputs 12 and 24[V]DC) intended for cooperation with the decoder of the current DPZ tap number.
