UTXvSZR

Automatic Reserve Transfer Switch (ARTS) UTXvSZR is intended for reserving power supplies in switchboards with any configurations, including non-standard ones.

It has a universal measuring range up to 460 V AC/DC. It ensures: fast, selective and reliable switching in the event of any type of disturbance: voltage loss or circuit breaker tripping.
The basis for reliable operation of the machine is: precise and fast measurement of analog quantities and precise calculation of modules and voltage vectors.
The device is standardly equipped with a package of PAX relay outputs (a package of 4 strong and fast outputs).

UTXvSZR in the MV switchgear can monitor and control both 3 and 5 breakers. In a HV switchgear it can work as an ATS of a line string, controlling 3 circuit breakers in the lines and across.
In addition to the standard types of reserves, the device can implement any type of reserve, controlling up to 8 voltage groups and up to 15 switches.

The device is equipped with a built-in ARTS test mode that allows:

binary input simulations
mapping of switch states
changing voltage parameters both statically and dynamically
depending on the presence or absence of voltage according to your own rule
stimulation of ATS cycles
testing all configured ARTS programs without using any external testing systems.

a multi-processor digital measurement and decision-making system with three groups of protection settings;
galvanic separation of individual inputs and outputs (analog and digital);
59 – eight overvoltage stages, one for each voltage group, with the possibility of individually setting the logic, voltage and time settings (8 x U>);
27 – eight undervoltage stages, one for each voltage group, with the possibility of individually setting the logic, voltage and time settings (8 x U<);
ability to set the name, gear ratio and voltage type for each group independently;
possibility of setting up to 8 operating systems with programmable names recognized by the machine;
possibility of setting up to 50 different, fully programmable and independent cycles;
possibility of setting up to 10 excitation conditions for each program determining the states of the switches, the states of the voltage elements and the PZ control;
possibility of setting up to 10 steps for each program enabling control of any switch, control of the status of any switch and control of the status of any voltage component;
the possibility of a programmable name, default and current state of the system, programmable cycle duration, return from an unsuccessful cycle, ignoring the lock on activation and the type of lock after the cycle for each program;
the ability to automatically detect the reserve type or declare a dedicated type;
monitoring the readiness and position of circuit breakers;
functions of remote or local control of PSS cycles and locking and unlocking the machine;
accurate and detailed signaling of machine errors and blockages locally and remotely;
74 – UP, AL station signaling functions;
30/74 – possibility of connecting external protection devices to binary inputs;
33 – bay controller function with presentation of the bay status on a graphic display with support for 15 fully programmable switches;
permanent control of the correctness of the terminal’s internal systems;
three levels of password-protected permissions;
event registration and disturbance registration (8 voltages and 16 digital channels);
function of synchronous sampling of analog inputs, time synchronization and real-time clock;
measurement of the quantity – U and visualization on the controller display with the possibility of transmitting them to the system;
switching counters and device operating times;
detailed reporting of the switching process displayed on the display and transmitted to the system;
graphic display and 11-button keyboard and 16 three-color LEDs (15 freely programmable);
32 logical functions with programmable modifiers to implement simple and complex algorithms;
possibility of visualization, control and configuration via the SAZ 2000 program.

UTX3 devices enable communication in the following protocols:
